Last night at the 666 Hash, Anal Inspector (The closest thing to a GM of the various Wednesday night hashes) gave Virgin dick his blessing for us to travel to Markham Park for the annual Dead Elvis Hash in lieu of our normal Wednesday Hash.

Since Virgin Dick's trail is also the weekly wildcard I suggest we do a Monday trail in Palm Beach County so that those who don't want to travel half way to Naples can get in their weekly hash fix in Palm Beach County.
In fact, I volunteer to hare (assuming I'm available that day) if anyone is up for a hash that night.

The idea is to make you cum down here to get your fix. If the Dead Elvis stays in Weston (not a certainty) it is closer to you guys (even starting east of I-95) than cuming to Hollywood Beach or Aventura. The ride is so easy going south on the Sawgrass. What's the problem?

Yea, right. We've been trying to avoid conflicts in order to try to get more hashers to each of the various hashers. I'm hoping that we can move the Wild Card to Wednesday, and that PBH will travel the Wednesday night down to Central Broward. I thought it was agreed, but to add the Monday night hash back into the mix kind of negates the concept.
Again, for the record, the Sawgrass/I-75 makes it an easy ride. Cuming I-95 to I-595 isn't that bad either, and it allows anyone in Broward or Miami-Dade pretty easy and quick access as well.
I think you will find the trail exciting and the whole Dead Elvis Hash worth attending where ever it is.

I'm not trying to ruin your master plan, just telling what others are thinking.
I'm not saying it won't be a great hash. But don't expect many Palm Beach Hashers to drive to Weston on a Wednesday night (or Hollywood Beach or Aventura either for that matter).
We don't get a great turnout when our own hash is out of the central part of our own county.
If you want to combine hashes on a weekday night you need to hold it a location convenient to everyone.

I agree. Besides if it's in Weston, that will be 3 years in a row.

No master plan, and I know that you don't need a big crowd to have a GREAT hash. Still, we're hoping to put on a Dead Elvis Wild Card and hope that there won't be a "competing" Wild Card on Monday night. None of us like long week day drives, and I am most guilty about not doing them. Still, I do make the drives occassionally when I can and it looks like it will be a "special" event or an excellent trail.
Moreover, I try to do trails that start near a convenient highway, etc. I-75/Sawgrass (and I-595) give really easy access for those cuming up from Miami as well as those cuming down from Palm Beach. Fro any one in Broward (Itsy), it couldn't be much more convenient unless it was at the Cypress Creek park and ride or something like that.
If the trail ends up in Weston (and it is still not decided), it will be an all new and different trail for sure. We are still looking for the right Dead Elvis venue since we can't go to Graceland this year.

Well I give up. You're obviously set on it. If you feel that strongly we won't have a Monday hash that week.
We'll see how many Fort Lauderdale and Miami hashers show up on a Monday night for my next Ground Hog Day Hash or something when I move the Hurricane to a Monday, ask that it be combined with the Wildcard, then start it right off of I95 at Indiantown Road in Jupiter.

I like Ex-Presidente's idea of having the Monday night hash in PB county. I'll show up, if it's not on Northlake Blvd. I do not think that will diminish the turn out for Dead Elvis. Anyone that is a "regular" is used to hashes every Monday and Wednesday. What I think might impact turn out to D.E. is the location. But what do I know... I'll be at both

595 and the Sawgrass/I-75 isn't exactly like going to Jupiter. Or even like Northlake Blvd.

It sounds like the Ranging Whiner Sisters want to hare an August Wild Card on Monday night (8/14/06) in Palm Beach. What me worry? I'll put you guys on the Wild Card schedule. Let me know your start location (south of Northlake, I'm guessing) when you have it, please.

I told you a couple posts back I'm not doing a Monday hash that week per your request.
(Though I'm still surprised that you don't even see my point).
And don't start getting nasty cause I could shell it out just as well.

Not meant to be nasty at all. Just in fun my whiney ranging friend. I certainly am in fear your shelling.
Cereally, you can hare a Monday night in Palm Beach if you want. I'll try to be there.
