To help weed out some of the awards it would also be a good idea to trim out the ones that don't pertain to a particular hasher or group of hashers like best/worst on after. After all, who would accept the award then?

I would love to help out in any way I could, be it co-haring (I'm fast enough to lay some good bad trails), or just helping with the voting.
Sounds like a lot of fun.

So after all this, I went to go order from the site Climaxes recommended (thanks!) and I see that a newer spiffier model is coming out at the end of this month. www.lakepowelldiscountmarineelectronics.com/gafo205gpswa.htmlSo, I think I will just wait for that to come out and get that. I like the idea of having the usb connection as opposed to the serial, and don't need any heart rate monitor.

I went to Target last night after class and the only model they carry is the Forerunner 101 which doesn't appear to have the computer hook-up. So it looks like I may have to just order it online.

hopefully they still have it for that price.
Although I might need to request that the continuing fourteen fourths education series dedicate a class the the usage of a GPS unit.

Thanks for the quick response.
I'm ready. But are you ready for me to join the ranks of the GPS wunderkinds? Well, are ya? That's the real question.
And of course seven halves would have the latest and greatest model. I wouldn't expect anything less of him.

I have decided that I am going to go out and get some spiffy new technology. But I wanted to know which GPS systems you recommend. I want to be able to download the route to my computer. (Don't worry 3.5, I won't be able to compete with your wonderful, eye-in-the-sky, dual doppler, team coverage reporting)
Any models I should look for/stay away from? And where is the best place to find one at a reasonable price?

or I guess it would be more appropriate to say the over under would be 1.5 beer checks. And on that, I will take the under.
But part of me thinks we are just taking the whole prediction thing a bit too far.

Man, so technical and precise. But I have to agree with Yeasty. It could mean a number of things based upon where the trail is going. Anything else we may care to wager on would have to be done in terms of odds or something to that effect.
If we wanted to do a strict interpretation of an over/under it would have to be on beer checks or mileage. For example, the over under on 3.5's trail would maybe be 1 beer check and 4 miles.

damn, I wish I was going to be here for this one. I had a great time last year.
BTW, are you going to bring enough flour this year?
