Not to take away from Anal laying a long trail but it was EatMeAlive that ran us around the airport, exactly 7 miles. He used that trail as his 7 mile bridge training run.

Only in defense of Dirty Veal Chop, she was spontaneously named at a drunken campout and missed out on laying a trail to get named. If you laid trail and don't like your name then you just have to deal with it.

Um, I have been a Registered Nurse for 2 years- I used to work at Palms West Hospital (Telemetry and some Intensive Care & Recovery Room), now I do home health care. Also, before I became a nurse, I worked at Woodlands Middle School (same school as Silver Hummer and Soft Palette) where I taught Spanish for 4 years, and taught English to adult immigrants part-time at the Adult Ed Center. You could say... I ain't no dummy. And I ain't not no nurse wannabe- I is bein' a nurse (and a bilingual one at that). You didn't mention anything about being a "slut bunny" though. I couldn't find any dragon repellent so I bought some alligator repellent instead. I hope it doesn't keep away all the UF alumni.

The hare is more then welcome to provide food but it is not a requirement. This will open the bike-o up to hares that might feel food is too much of a burden or don't want to have 5 gallons of left over chili, again. If we get hares signed up for every 2 weeks that is great also but we need to have at least have 1 a month.
Remeber, we are the hash the allows chairs in the circle but you can't sit in the circle if no body is there. ONON SMD

Crap! I can't make it. We decided at InterBASH to have a Bike-o at least once a month. Also the food is not a requirement. Let's pick a hare for April. OnOn SMD

The campsite was so strictly NO ALCOHOL that we got thrown out in the middle of the night! At least the trail was awsome!

This was in yesterday's bird cage liner. 2007 Bridge run still 'very possible' By Hal Habib
Palm Beach Post Staff Writer
Tuesday, April 04, 2006
Applications for the 25th Seven Mile Bridge Run were available for less than 2 1/2 days when the limit of 1,500 runners was reached. The first-time race director Denise Pankow visited the post office to pick up entries, 225 pieces of express mail were waiting for her.
You could say the cult following for this event is as strong as ever, which is why no one — especially Pankow — is about to let the race die after April 22 if it can be helped. Pankow said Monday that she is "penciling in" April 21, 2007, for the 26th edition of the race from Marathon to Little Duck Key although the campground that serves as the event's staging area has been sold to developers. The hope is that an alternative area can be found for parking and the post-race party, even if it involves busing runners to the starting line at the base of the Seven Mile Bridge.
Pankow said she couldn't estimate the chances that everything will come together, saying only it's "very possible, but there are way too many unknowns we're still dealing with at this time."
Through the years, the race has earned $300,000 for youth activities in the Keys, not to mention millions more in tourist dollars. But it's more than that, Pankow said.
"It's also the camaraderie one time a year," Pankow said of the familiar faces in the field. "We're sure looking at it with a positive attitude that we can keep it going. We just don't know what it's going to take."

Here is the email I got from VD.
I am going to be running the ING Miami Tropical Marathon on Sunday and Shell Shocked has set up a place on the route for a beer check for the runners. Stop the Bus and ArgenTuna are lending their home (a short block away) to gather and rally, and a few hashers have volunteered to help. All of us feel that it isn't worth the effort to set up the stop and a hash with out more than the four or five participants that we know we can count on for this. So...if you still need a hare for the biko on Sunday (Jan. 29) I will be a biko hare (w/ArgenTuna and Stop the Bus) rather than setting my usual running trail if some of you, probably a minimum of about 5 or so can make it a point to cum down to Miami and help. You would need to be down at the stop by the time I cum through, projected to be around 8:15 am. The biko would then begin at 11 am with the hare away by 11:30 am. Honestly, we think the tradition of the beer check at Marathons is worth doing. I am running under the name of Virgin Dick, and don't know who else is running the full marathon. I know Itsy Bitsy and Sucks on the Beach are running the half. Anyway, though it sounds like I'm trying to cut a deal, I'm really asking for help in upholding the tradition of the Hash.
PR Racing, that is putting on this event, has asked for a couple of paragraphs regarding our participation, and this is what Shell Shocked has sent them. (For the record, they are really pleased with our participation, and have given us an official green light to have our beer stop.).

Starting location is the softball field in north Lake Worth. Start time 4pm, hare away at 4:30pm. To get there take I95 to 10th ave north and head east to D street. Go north on D to the very end and look for screaming hashers in front of you. Bring something you don't mind getting wet (skin). OnOn SMD
