Here's a rehash for you
So although this was only my third ever hash I know I wasn't the only one who was shocked at what we "ran" through. It started off easily enough running from the parking lot to the preserve and even the jungle was good in the beginning. Then we hit the shiggy. Started off with a little mud, which progressed into puddles, which progressed into waterways, which then progressed into 2 miles of swamp. fucking swamp. We're talking my-balls-are-marinating-in-waisthigh-water-and more than-likely-attracting-all-sorts-of-female-aquatic-wildlife (re: swamp ass). Every time we made it through one swamp we would navigate dense woods only to see another expanse. This shiggy was so bad I wasn't just looking out for snakes and gators, I swear I saw the vietcong in Marsh #6. After the first couple marshes no one was really running, more like trudging through the water until it started to get dark and we saw lightning in the distance. Before it became completely dark we hit the first beercheck and headed back through the Donny-trail. It wasn't untill we got back that I was told 5 people didn't make it to the beercheck. Although no one waited for them, at least we left a pile of beer. Bad enough to walk through a swamp in the dark, but no reason to do it sober. In the circle they were all called out for a down-down for being too slow to make it and when asked why no one waited there was a reply "we thought you died, we just moved on with our lives." Luckily we got to do this run with a bunch of virgins, one of whom brought his two dogs for a swim (gator bait) and another guy who was a pilot in the Mexican air-force. Anal-inspector got his payback when we covered his car and windshield in our soaked and grody swamp socks. I wonder if he ever found the one crammed up his tailpipe.
