Here's some places people have stayed at in past years, most are on the low-medium price range for Key West: www.palmshotelkeywest.com (3.5" Drive's choice) www.HistoricKeyWestInns.com <http://www.HistoricKeyWestInns.com> El Patio (always some hashers at El Patio !) Best Western Hibiscus (hash hotel 2 years ago) Blue Marlin (across the street from the Hibiscus, both near the Southernmost area and of course, Atlantic Shores !) A bunch of hashers are staying at the Island City House, near the seaport area and the Schooners Wharf !

For the pub crawl, do we just show up with money?

Hey Steve Cracker - thanks for touching base here with us !
The pub crawl will be usual hash cash format - pay at the first bar and the hares will buy beer for the pack at all the stops, including the first one. Of course you can always buy another beverage or two on your own if you want more than beer. Hash cash will probably be around $15.
Please let us know how many are coming along with you, to help us plan out the numbers so we can give the bar managers a rough estimate of the size of our pack !

I'll be alone for the pub crawl.
My son is running the 5k. I'll make sure he wears a Hash shirt so we can cheer for him.

Nothing is better than paradise with friends. Nurse & Yeast did an excellent job organizing and executing the pub crawl and snorkel cruise for all 70 of us @ Key West Hemingway Days. They are the best!

Thanks for the praise Circumspector. A. I. - photos are on the way soon.
I just wanted to post here to say a huge THANKS to all the Hemingway Hashers this past weekend ! What a great time !
For those who don't remember, the bar stops were: 1. Guy Harveys 2. Cowboy Bill's Honky Tonk Saloon 3. Hemingway House (for the 5k) 4. Green Parrot 5. Rick's 6. Guy Harveys (tippy cup and beer pong !)
The final count was 66 hashers total (just 3 shy of the magic number, damn !) Including just one Key West hasher (Tiny Testes) and PotBelly traveled the furthest (all the way from the UK !)
And we really took over the Sebago snorkel boat - 40 hashers vs 20 civilians, thats not a bad ratio at all. And we got to go to Dry Rocks instead of the usual Sand Key, this was a much better snorkel site.
Oh, and how about Green Parrot Friday night, the Legendary JC's were AWESOME, what a great band !
On behalf of my co-hare, Nurse GoodBody, THANKS again to all you Hemingway Hashers, let make it 69 next year !
(Photos on the way soon !)
