35 plus hashers showed up to see the land BPM record broken by Climaxes By Night and Pubic Service.
This 2 and 1/2 mile ballbuster trail included a beer stop and a shot check!
Great beer check on the Intracoastal (ruining some couple's peaceful relaxation time).
Highlights included Yeast calling OnOn back from where we came from after a check back 10. By the way Happy Birthday (today) Yeast! And you too Palm Beach Hashing.
And the "B" brought tears to my eyes as we circled up at the "ruins" of my old hangout City Limits.
After several down downs for the usual, for the Brokeback Boys (who I think were hoarding the beer), the numerous visitors (all from Broward + Eatapus), and some Virgins we were off to Bru's (but not before we were invited to the American Legion Hall whose kitchen had unfortunately just closed).
As usual a good time was had by all.

Great turnout for the hash last night in Delray Beach - about 40 showed up and a bunch of Ft Lauderdale hashers (Fosol, Paid to Peep, Teflon Willie, Itsy Bitsy) plus a few new virgins as well. And many notable returners (Mark, Seth, Dry Organ, Marita, Stinky Pinky, Adadichtomy)
The hares promised a live trail with a beer check and a "SSScheck" - which would be either a "super secret shot check" or a "self service shot check". Trail took us out around downtown Delray Beach and east on Atlantic Ave over the Intracoastal bridge to a long CB 10, where some of us started backtracking trail (yeas that was me) and some headed out in all directions opposite of the true trail, which actually went around the corner of the Blue Anchor Pub south past the little marina by Busch's. Soon we came upon the "SSSCheck" - turned out it was some kind of cream drink or egg nog type shots and half the pack decided to skip or seemed like a lot just sped around the corner by the intracoastal just past the SSS check and may not have even seen the check. About a quarter mile later, just a mile or so into the trail, was the beer check, right at a great spot on the Intracoastal south of Atlantic Ave just underneath the neighborhood heavy equipment construction crane. We showed up to keep a lovely couple company sitting on a park bench enjoying their serene relaxing moment at the intracoastal. Nearly time to go out on the rest of the trail when the 7-8 walkers finally came in not sure what took them so long. Somewhere along the way I heard Itsy Bitsy and Cum Again talking about us needing to have another hash election so the their new "Next Presidente" - that would be Dirty Veal Chop - would be officially the czar of the Hurricane Hash - or the Palm Beach ? And we are suspecting she'd kick out everyone over 45 years old. We started recalculating our dates of birth right then.
Second half of trail was a bit longer than the first half - nearly double - and took us into the old City Limits for the ON-IN. It was like a little ghost town in there, since City Limits was a fairly big mostly outdoors bar with a couple of tiki type bars and a large stage. Dry Organ reminisced about his band having played there when they first opened and also the night they closed (about a year ago). Cum Again reminded us that now that its closed him & Climaxes can't figure out what to do with themselves on Friday nights.
Eventually the circle got started, right after the walkers showed up with Adadichtomy carrying in the leftover beer from the beer check, and then going out again with Pubic Service to retrieve the SSScheck stuff. Cuming or Going ? and Yeast tag teamed the running of the circle and there were the usual suspects, with lots of returners, and a good group of June birthdays (7 ?) and 3 virgins (who brought them anyway ?). Lively round of quick accusations with Itsy Bitsy and Eat a Puss both vying for the most down downs given. Cum Again declared that the trail actually may have exceeded Plopaholic's Biko hash on Sunday for most BPM (Beers Per Mile). On After was at Bru's Room by the railroad tracks - anyone want to let us know who had what happen to them and who else over there ?
