What is NFHN Ed's new name?
We wanted to make the run on the way back from the keys, but traffic/late start/bathroom breaks/long lunch prevented it.
I first met Ed down at Knight's Key this weekend. He seems like he will be a good hasher. (And I mean that in a non-gay way [not that there's anything wrong with that])

His name is Quercus (pronounced Queer Kiss) because of the signs of various species of Quercus (Oaks) in the little park where we had the beer check.
Another tough naming with some vowing to rename as soon as possible.
2nd choice was SucksBack. From the former NFHN Ed's aiding Sucks On The Beach when he fought with the cripple at the bar several weeks ago.

What is with the "re-naming?" It seems to be a plague on our hash. Peanut Bag seems to have changed to Trips A Lot on whim. Not that I don't like the new name but...when the Hash gives you name, that's who you are unless you do something really spectacular that demands "re-naming." Even Weathered cock's name didn't really change. He just became aka The Nerd, because of his polyester, his true nerdliness, and his April Fool's "Running of the Nerds."
Quercues is so unique and is most honorable because it relates to something Quercues did while haring his naming hash. Most honorable, Quercues, now and forever in the ages of the Hash, etc. etc.
