So "I missed the boat" on my watertaxi prediction.
But I did show some clairvoyance with my Karnac impersonation predicting the "beer check by the water" before I opened my envelop #60.
Since I'm not usually a fan of gimic hashes I must say that I was disappointed to learn that we were doing a picture hash but it turned out to a fun evening.
For those of you who missed the hash, each hasher was given two envelops, one with a number and one with a letter. Each stop (about a dozen) we'd search for a tag with a letter/number combination. We'd wait until the hashers with the envelops showed up, read the clues (one was a picture the other a verbal clue) and head out to find the next "tag".
Luckily the hare joined us at each stop (unlike the infamous "slide-rule" hash) because some of his clues were quite obscure.
Maybe it was the nice weather. Maybe it was the great scenery (New River, Downtown Ft. Laud etc). Maybe it was the beer. Maybe it was that the hare was so well-organized. But I didn't mind this gimic hash at all. A good time was had by all.
When it's your turn to hare, do it the way you want to do it. Just make it be your turn to hare.... soon.
